Account & Data Deletion
Provided by Aupesbox Software Solutions Private Limited for the Quelto app.
If you no longer wish to use Quelto, you can request the complete deletion of your account and associated personal data.
How to request data deletion:
- Method 1 (In-App): Open the Quelto app, navigate to your Profile, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete Account. Your data will be deleted immediately.
- Method 2 (Web Request): Click the button below to email our support team (aupesbox@gmail.com) from your registered email address with the subject "Data Deletion Request."
What data is deleted?
Upon request, we will permanently delete:
- Your personal profile (Name, Phone Number, Email)
- Your uploaded photos, videos, and active product listings
- Your community chat history and messages
- Your precise location data
What data is retained (and for how long)?
For legal, tax, and anti-fraud compliance, we may retain specific records after your account is deleted:
- Financial Transaction Records: Retained for up to 7 years as required by Indian tax and accounting laws.
- Fraud Prevention Logs: Basic device identifiers involved in fraudulent activity may be retained indefinitely to prevent platform abuse.
Processing Time: Manual email requests are processed and completed within 30 days.
